The oxygen generator for the eco-friendly building materials industry uses high-quality zeolite molecular sieve as the adsorbent to produce oxygen from the air under certain pressure. Purified and dried compressed air undergoes pressurized adsorption and depressurized desorption in the adsorber. Due to aerodynamic effects, nitrogen diffuses much faster than oxygen in the micropores of the zeolite molecular sieve. Nitrogen is preferentially adsorbed by the molecular sieve, while oxygen is enriched in the gas phase, forming the final oxygen product.
Oxygen Generator Process Flow for the Eco-friendly Building Materials Industry
The oxygen generator for the eco-friendly building materials industry mainly consists of an air compressor, activated carbon filter, air refrigerated dryer, air buffer tank, oxygen generation host, and oxygen compressor. Raw material air, after removing dust particles through the suction inlet filter, is pressurized to 0.5 MPa by the air compressor. It is first treated by the activated carbon filter to remove a small amount of oil carried by the compressed air when the compressor starts up, then condensed and dewatered by the air refrigerated dryer before entering one adsorber of the oxygen generation host. The adsorber is filled with adsorbent, where moisture, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of other gas components are adsorbed by the activated alumina at the bottom of the adsorber inlet. Subsequently, nitrogen is adsorbed by the molecular sieve above the activated alumina. Oxygen, as a non-adsorbed component, is discharged from the top outlet of the adsorber as product gas into the oxygen balance tank. It is then pressurized to the required oxygen pressure by the oxygen compressor and sent to the subsequent oxygen-using section for use.
When one adsorber of the oxygen generation host has adsorbed to a certain extent, the adsorbent inside will reach saturation. At this point, the switching valve vents, discharging the adsorbed moisture, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and a small amount of other gas components into the atmosphere, regenerating the adsorbent. Both adsorbers of the oxygen generation host alternately perform the following steps:---adsorption---desorption---purging---repressurization.
